Journal Policies
1. Open Access Policy
JOMEINO is an open access journal. All articles are published Open Access on jomeino.com under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Open access refers to the practice of making peer-reviewed scholarly research and literature freely available online to anyone interested in reading it. Open Access allows for unrestricted sharing of scholarly information and helps to promote knowledge worldwide.
As an Open Access journal, JOMEINO allows any user to have immediate and free access to the full text of all articles. There is no embargo period, and users are not required to register to read any article. Any user is permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or reuse them for any other lawful purpose, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors and the source.
2. Licensing Terms
Authors who publish in the journal retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. All articles are simultaneously licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Under this license, others are permitted to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, and to remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.
3. Copyright Terms
JOMEINO allows all authors to retain full copyright over their published works. Authors maintain full control over their articles, including the right to reuse, distribute, and republish their work in any medium, in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license.
Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that the submitted work has not been previously published (except in abstract form), is not under consideration elsewhere, and will not be submitted to another journal while under review by JOMEINO. Submission of a manuscript implies that all listed authors have approved the final version and agreed to its submission.
4. Peer Review and Publication Ethics
JOMEINO is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
All submissions undergo a fair and objective double-blind peer review process. The journal takes all reasonable measures to prevent conflicts of interest between authors, reviewers, and editors. Any ethical concerns or deviations from these principles should be reported directly to the Editors, who are committed to addressing such matters promptly and transparently.
Publisher Responsibilities
The publisher supports the editorial team, authors, and reviewers and ensures that the publication process operates smoothly and ethically in accordance with established standards.
Editor Responsibilities
Editors are responsible for ensuring a confidential, fair, and timely peer review process. Editorial decisions are based on the scholarly merit, originality, clarity, and relevance of the manuscript. Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest and must not use unpublished material for their own research.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively and confidentially. Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest, avoid personal criticism of authors, and notify the editor of any ethical concerns, including suspected plagiarism or data falsification.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their work. All sources must be properly cited, and any conflicts of interest must be disclosed. Authors must ensure that all contributors who meet authorship criteria are appropriately listed and that all co-authors approve the final manuscript. Authors are required to cooperate with editors in correcting or retracting articles if significant errors are identified after publication.
5. Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. Authors are required to properly acknowledge all sources and citations for content that is not entirely their own.
All submissions to JOMEINO are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin, an originality checking and plagiarism detection tool. Plagiarism or self-plagiarism in any form is considered unethical publishing behavior and will result in immediate rejection.
All costs related to plagiarism screening are fully covered by the journal. No fees are charged to authors at any stage of submission, review, or publication.
6. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI Policy
JOMEINO acknowledges the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI tools in academic writing and research workflows.
AI tools (such as ChatGPT or similar large language models) may be used solely for limited purposes such as language editing, grammar correction, and improving the clarity or readability of the manuscript. The use of AI tools must not replace the authors’ own intellectual contribution.
AI tools must not be used to generate research hypotheses, scientific arguments, data, data analyses, interpretations, conclusions, or references. AI-generated content must not be presented as original scholarly work.
Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors, as they do not meet authorship criteria and cannot take responsibility for the published content.
Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their manuscripts, including any content generated or modified with the assistance of AI tools. Any use of AI-assisted tools must be transparently disclosed by the authors in the manuscript, typically in the acknowledgements or in a dedicated disclosure statement.
During the peer review process, reviewers and editors must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and must not upload or share unpublished content with AI tools or third-party platforms.
Failure to disclose the use of AI tools or misuse of AI-generated content may be considered a breach of publication ethics and may result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.
7. Digital Preservation and Archiving Policy
JOMEINO is committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility and preservation of its published content.
All journal content is hosted on secure publisher-managed servers and is subject to regular internal backups and redundant storage procedures to minimize the risk of data loss.
In addition, JOMEINO participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PN), a free, community-based digital preservation service provided by the Public Knowledge Project. Through PKP PN, the journal’s content is automatically preserved in a distributed network of independent archival nodes, in accordance with recognized long-term digital preservation standards, ensuring long-term preservation and continued access if the journal or publisher becomes unavailable.
Furthermore, the publisher deposits published journal content into the Internet Archive, an independent non-profit digital library. This manual archiving process provides an additional, non-exclusive external preservation layer and supports long-term public access to the journal’s content.
The archived materials reflect the versions of record made publicly available by the journal at the time of deposit. Access to preserved content is maintained through both the journal’s official website and trusted external preservation platforms.
JOMEINO recognizes the importance of established long-term digital preservation infrastructures and continues to evaluate additional preservation and archiving solutions to further strengthen its preservation strategy.
8. Repository (Self-Archiving) Policy
JOMEINO permits authors to deposit all versions of their manuscripts, including the published version of record, in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal websites.
There is no embargo period. All versions may be shared immediately under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Authors may share and distribute their articles on any repository or platform, including commercial repositories, provided that the original publication in JOMEINO is properly acknowledged with full citation details and the article DOI.
Authors are strongly encouraged to deposit the version of record to ensure accuracy, visibility, and correct citation of their work.
9. Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy
JOMEINO does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, editing, publication, or article processing.
There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees for authors at any stage of the editorial or publication process.
All costs associated with the operation of the journal, including plagiarism screening, editorial management, and DOI assignment, are fully covered by the publisher.
JOMEINO is published as a fully open access journal free of charge to authors.

Personal information such as names and email addresses submitted to the JOMEINO editorial system is used exclusively for the purposes of manuscript processing and journal communication. This information is not shared with third parties or used for any other purposes. Published articles include a correspondence email address for the corresponding author to facilitate scholarly communication.
